Tolo Toys First Friends Tractor Trailer Review
I bought this for my 16-months-old son for Christmas. He loves anything that has four wheels on it. This tractor and trailer set is a pretty good size. Bigger than what I expected. It consists of four individual parts: tractor, trailer, farmer, and cow. The design is very attractive and child appropriate. The materials are very sturdy. My son has been playing with this every day since Christmas, and he has been throwing it around on occasion, but nothing broke off or is damaged yet. The sound effects are great, but they are LOUD. My son doesn't seem to mind, though. He uses the trailer to haul his Lego's and other toys around. He always gets excited when the tractor starts taking off and drives away. The farmer and cow have doubled as chew toys for my teething toddler, but I haven't seen any teeth marks on them. Good quality materials. The set came with a battery, so my son was able to play with this right out of the box. Nice. Overall, I am very pleased with this toy. Just push the farmer down on his seat and the engine revs, the lights go on, the horn sounds and the tractor starts moving. Tractor features soft rubber tires that turn but do not scratch floors. The farmer and cow figures are removable with swiveling heads and limbs that make a fun 'clicking' sound; the button on the farmer squeaks when pushed.
