My son wanted a truck for his birthday and so he got it, however, It's NOT going to be suitable for any child that wants to play with it. It's definitely NOT Tonka toy tough. The description should be more clear as this is more for display and very light rolling than anything else. I won't buy anything like this for a child anymore. As for the die-cast statement, it's die-cast fragile plastic for 90% of it and the truck part is about half die-cast metal.
