My four year old received this as a birthday gift and he loved it, however it is not a very durable item for a boy who loves to PLAY with his toys. The connection between the dump truck and the trailer, aka the hitch, broke within the first couple of hours. My son wouldn't let me return it though because he has wanted a dump truck with a trailer for so long. Now we just pretend hitch it and he still plays with it.
