Bruder Caterpillar Track Loader Review
Amazingly well detailed plastic toy. The tracks move freely on most types of surfaces. Bruder also includes rubber grouser cleats that can be clipped onto the plastic tracks to make it roll better on very slippery surfaces but we found that they were not needed. I believe the age group Bruder recommends is a little too young for these "Pro Series" line of toys. Our 9 year old had some difficulty opening the cab doors and lowering the bucket. Not to complicated, just a little stiff operating. If you have a young child try the "RoadMax" series line first as they have less detailed parts to break off. If they still show interest as they grow then upgrade to the more expensive "Pro Series" line of toys. When our son received this as a Christmas gift we realized how nice a toy it was so we decided it was going to be an inside play toy only even though Bruder says it's safe for outside play also.
