My son is obsessed with tractors and construction trucks so I got him this for his birthday. He sometimes takes this toy to bed, and has had hours of play both outside in the sand and inside with a large cookie sheet filled with pebbles. He loves to make the backhoe and front loader buckets work and the stabilizer legs are a definite plus. It is much more durable than the less expensive plastic vehicles you can pick up the same size.
