I was very pleased as to how the ATV performed and still is performing. My wife and I got this for my 5 year old daughter for Christmas and for her, she handled it very well. The two speeds are manageable for her and stopping is easy. Setting it up was also easy. The only downfall with the ATV are the wheels.
